1.Introduction
The AMFP30 is a digital FPD detector with the patented Amorphous Silicon TFT sensor and needles directly deposited CsI: Tl scintillator technique of iRay technology. It is designed with the compact outline in order to retrofit the analog mammography system to digital. AMFP30 has a quite large active area of 24x30cm with 85μm pixel pitch. The employed CsI (Cesium Iodide) scintillator makes the AMFP30 achieve a special high DQE and MTF. The detector provides AED (Auto Exposure Detection) function via the specialized sensor to detect the X-ray for activing the FPD, and is also compatible with the existed AEC function of the analog mammography system. AMFP30 supports FFDM applications.
