Edan has developed a system of complex filtering that allows to separate the noise regions from the    diagnostic image. This way you get a true anatomic image and information vital for correct diagnostic.   Phase Inversion Harmonic Imaging Harmonic signals are produces directly in the body and therefore are not being distorted by biological tissue. The phase-inversion harmonics cancel the fundamental components and uses harmonic    signal to provide a higher frequency image with less clutter.   Spatial Compounding The Spatial Compounding technology allows us to receive an image with reduced noise and enhanced contrast at the same time. While other technologies form image only by transmitting ultrasonic waves    directly away from the transducer, Spatial Compounding technology adds and combines additional images received by transmitting ultrasonic waves at an angle away from the transducer.
